Metropolitan Market rolls out BRdata CPT devices
“I just wanted to provide some feedback on the new survey device. It works great! It is a lot easier to capture UPCs. You can scan horizontally, vertically, diagonally, etc. I even tried it through a freezer door and it worked! Another thing I noticed (my mistake, towards the end of the survey..) was that scanning the POS tag does indeed work, it makes the survey a lot easier.  Also, because the iPod is narrower than the old device, it’s possible to enter the price with the same hand that you are holding the iPod in, ala texting. This wasn’t possible with the old one because you had to hold it in one hand and write in the amount with the other hand. All in all, this is a great upgrade and a worthwhile investment.
