BRdata World 2018

BRdata World 2018 is a little more than three weeks away and we are excited to share our lineup of industry experts, guest speakers, user experience sessions, and vendor partners.  There are multiple sessions scheduled which feature our retail and wholesale customers’ use of the BRdata Cloud platform.  User experiences from leaders in the independent grocery industry will focus on easily accessible enterprise business intelligence, e-commerce, automated store inventory replenishment, consumer engagement, digital coupons, loyalty, and store automation.  Greg Ferrara, Executive VP of the National Grocers Association (NGA), will provide an update on key legislative and regulatory issues affecting the supermarket industry.  John O’Malley, marketing professor at New York University, discusses the imperativeness of change in the marketplace.  And John K. Coyle, one of the world’s leading experts in Design Thinking, as well as an Olympian and innovation expert, presents his brain twisting “CounterClockWise” session on how to stop time from accelerating by designing your life to include more meaning and memories.

The conference takes place at the Fox Hollow in Woodbury, New York, from September 23 to 25 and there’s still time to register. Guests arriving early on Sunday can start their networking by either taking a trip to NYC — complete with LIRR and subway experience – to visit Greenwich Village and the New York High Line – ranked as one of the top ten places to visit in the country.  They also have the option of playing in the BRdata golf tournament on the Red Course at Bethpage State Park – the location of the world-renowned Black Course.  If the big city or golf is not their thing, attendees can enjoy a leisurely day fishing the Great South Bay.

Attendees looking for additional hands-on training are welcome to join us at our advanced, technical, or beginners’ training after the conference on September 26 and 27.

The BRdata family looks forward to greeting our conference guests and partners.  As always, thank you for choosing BRdata for your retail technology needs and for your continued support.

Sincerely,

John Abbene
